Configuring your HTC device for a POP3 or IMAP server

Just as Exchange servers are popular POP3 and IMAP servers are the standard in email protocols. This guide will help you get your device configured to use them very very quickly.
 
Firstly, we need to find out the following details about the server and the email account:

• server details (incoming/outgoing)
• email address
• email username
• email password

Next, go to Start->Messaging->Setup Email. Complete all the fields and you are ready to go.
